1:1 Coaching & Mentoring

Growth isn’t always about moving up or doing more. Sometimes, it’s about understanding where you are, what you want, and how to get there in a way that feels right. Maybe you're figuring out a career transition, stepping into leadership, or learning how to communicate your ideas more clearly. Whatever it is, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’ve worked in technical and leadership roles for over a decade, navigating both the challenges of growing as an individual and guiding teams. I also have training in nonviolent communication, which helps me bring a thoughtful and practical approach to coaching. My goal isn’t to hand you answers —it’s to create space for the right conversations so you can find your own way forward with more clarity and confidence.

Ways I Can Help You

  • Grow Your Career & Communicate with Confidence

Every career step comes with its own challenges. Maybe you’re stepping into more responsibility, preparing for a promotion, or trying to communicate your ideas more clearly. Maybe you're wondering how to ask for a raise or how to navigate a tough conversation with your manager. These moments can feel overwhelming.

We’ll work through your specific situation. Whether that’s sharpening your leadership skills, improving strategic thinking, or making sure your contributions are seen. Together, we’ll develop a path that feels fulfilling and aligned with what you actually want.

  • Finding Your Leadership Style as a New Manager

Becoming a manager after a technical track changes many things. Suddenly, the skills that made you great at your job aren’t the ones you rely on anymore. You have to create clarity, set direction, and build trust with your team. That transition can feel disorienting, especially when balancing stakeholder expectations, team dynamics, and your own leadership growth.

I’ve been there, and I know how much of a learning curve it can be. We’ll talk through the real challenges you’re facing —whether it’s handling difficult conversations, designing team rituals, or setting the right boundaries— so you can build confidence in your leadership style.

  • Making an Impact in DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering

In technical roles like SRE and platform engineering, your job isn’t just about solving problems. It’s about driving change, advocating for reliability, and influencing teams beyond your own. That’s not always easy, especially when priorities aren’t aligned or when reliability work isn’t seen as urgent.

I’ve worked through these challenges myself, and I know how frustrating it can be to push for change when it feels like no one is listening. We’ll work on strengthening trust, making your impact more visible, and developing strategies to align reliability with business goals —so your work gets the recognition it deserves.

  • Speaking with Clarity and Confidence

Giving a talk—whether at a conference, an internal keynote, or a team presentation— can feel like a big step. Maybe you have ideas worth sharing but aren’t sure how to structure them, or you’re second-guessing whether your message will land.

I’ve helped speakers refine their ideas, craft engaging technical talks, and deliver them with clarity and confidence. We’ll work on the parts that matter most to you —whether that’s shaping a compelling narrative, designing visuals that enhance your message, or fine-tuning your delivery so you sound natural and engaging.

What to Expect

Coaching usually starts with 3–6 sessions over three months, but we can adjust based on what works best for you.

Each quarter, I reserve one spot at no charge for underrepresented individuals —such as women (especially early career), non-binary individuals, and people of color— who may not have access to this kind of support. If that’s you, feel free to reach out.
